British Apache and Wildcat helicopters arrive in Estonia

The United Kingdom has deployed AgustaWestland-Boeing WAH-64 Apache AH1 and AgustaWestland AW159 Lynx Wildcat AH1 helicopters to Estonia in support of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP).  The five Apaches at their home base in Wattisham shortly before departing for Estonia. The Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana: AMI) has deployed an undisclosed number of Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft to Keflavik Airbase to conduct NATO air policing and training duties over Iceland.  The Italian Air Force has deployed to Keflavik for the fourth time in recent years. Airbus Helicopters offers H145M for Australian SOF role

Airbus Helicopters has confirmed it is to bid its H145M battlefield support helicopter for Australia’s special forces requirement.  The H145M demonstrates its special forces credentials with the German KSK counter-terrorism unit.
