Pat Host joins CSBA's Defense Journalism Fellows

We are pleased to announce that Pat Host, our Americas military aviation reporter, has been selected as an inaugural fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA) Defense Journalism Seminar series.

“I’m delighted to be joining CSBA on their inaugural defense journalism seminar series. It’s truly an opportunity to learn from some of Washington’s most intelligent defense minds about the most important topics the Pentagon faces in the 21st Century,” said Host.

Pat covers military aircraft in the Americas, as well as military and commercial unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) around the world. You can read his latest work, including the latest on supersonic transportation for the US Air Force, autonomous folding wings for the Blue Water UAS, and the strengthening of JSTARS aircraft requirement commitments.

Sean Howe, executive director of Research & Analysis at Janes, said: “I am delighted for Pat and his selection reflects well on the ongoing commitment to excellence in defense journalism at Janes.
