The FY23 President's Budget Request (PBR) to the Congress was released on 28 March 2022 for the annual legislative review, asking for USD773 billion for Department of Defense (DoD) and another USD40 billion for Department of Energy military programs and other funding. However, the detailed budget exhibits were not released until the week of 11 April 2022, delaying the FY23 Congressional review process.
