Terma bags contracts to supply Indonesia with electronic warfare, anti-submarine systems

by Ridzwan Rahmat

Terma has received a contract to supply the Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut: TNI-AL) with a third-party electronic support measures (ESM) system.

The ESM system will be supplied with Terma's C-Flex vessel command-and-control system, and these will be incorporated on board six vessels.

“As part of the overall system design, we are also in close co-operation with a UK EW data management specialist, who will provide a shore station for ESM data processing, storage, and dissemination,” said Terma in a media release on 29 September.
