Nigerian Navy commissions 118 new vessels and a helicopter

The Nigerian Navy (NN) has commissioned 118 new ships and small craft as well as an AW139 helicopter.

Newly commissioned vessels include the OCEA OSV 190 SC-WB survey ship NNS Lana, which was delivered in April; two OCEA FPB 110 Mk II coastal patrol vessels (CPVs), NNS Sokoto and NNS Aba , which were received earlier this year; one OCEA FPB 72 Mk II fast patrol boat, NNS Osun; two Damen FCS 4008 Patrol CPVs, NNS Ikenne and NNS Kano
