Mercury Systems has expanded its defence footprint by acquiring fellow US electronics manufacturer Atlanta Micro for about USD90 million in cash, Mercury announced on 29 November.
Atlanta Micro's products include devices that enable high-speed data processing for electronic warfare, radar, and weapons. Founded in 2011 and based near Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta Micro employs approximately 35 people and expects to generate USD16 million in revenue in 2022.
