Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) has restructured its US subsidiaries in line with the company's efforts to optimise business operations and strengthen group branding.
The company said on 6 January that the US restructure was framed through short-form mergers and a dissolution. The restructure affected both commercial and defence-related businesses.
Under the reorganisation, Vision Technologies Land Systems - the holding company for ST Engineering Hackney, ST Engineering LeeBoy, and ST Engineering Aethon - was merged with ST Engineering North America.
The latter subsidiary is the surviving entity, with VT Land Systems shares transferred to ST Engineering North America.
In addition, Vision Technologies Marine - the holding company for shipbuilder VT Halter Marine - was merged with ST Engineering North America Government, with the latter being the surviving entity.
