India, Russia urged to strengthen industry ties

06 November 2019

Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has called on Russian defence companies to strengthen links with Indian counterparts in producing military equipment for both Indian and international markets.

Singh said these reforms included measures to remove administrative hurdles, the “opening up” of defence manufacturing for foreign companies, and the establishment of two defence industry corridors in India to incentivise defence investment.
