The Department for International Trade (DIT) unveiled a new export strategy on 11 September for UK security equipment manufacturers.
The Security Export Strategy commits DIT trade commissioners and staff in other UK government departments to provide expert advice to UK security businesses on how to export and connect them with potential customers overseas.
DIT also pledged to ensure that "no viable UK security export fails for a lack of finance or insurance from the private sector through promotion of the UK Export Finance [UKEF] offer to business".
