Simthetiq’s X2 Visual System selected by Copa Airlines

Montreal, Canada, August 5 , 2019 – Simthetiq, a leading provider of 3D visual solutions for the civil aviation and defense sectors, is pleased to announce that the X2 Visual System, powered by the aXion image generator, has been selected by Copa Airlines for installation on a Level D Boeing 737 MAX Full Flight Simulator (FFS) now deployed in Panama City.

Simthetiq’s X2 Visual System provides an immersive and highly realistic training environment and features a full suite of weather effects, whole earth terrain and an extensive library of high fidelity airports.

The Level D compliant X2 Visual System has been qualified on over 70 Flight Simulation Training Devices worldwide, including over 25 Level D Full Flight Simulators. It will be on display at the Asia Pacific Airline Training Summit (APATS) from September 3rd – 4th 2019 in Singapore.
