Enterprise Control Systems Ltd, Awarded US Department of Defense Subcontract to Supply the RF Defeat Element of AUDS for C-UAS Operations

23 July 2019

Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS) is delighted to announce the award of a further contract to provide the RF Defeat element of AUDS (Anti-UAV Defence System) that forms a part of the Liteye Systems Inc., CAUDS (Containerized AUDS) C-UAS system being supplied to the US Department of Defense (US DoD).

This is the latest in a series of contracts awarded for the supply of C-UAS equipment to the US DoD during the past three years. The order, worth in excess of £2 million, will be delivered during 2019 and was secured through Liteye Systems, Inc , the US integration partner of ECS. The contract will see the TRL-9 military-proven , AUDS technology further integrated into US military operations and facilities world-wide. The unique C-AUDS system integrates AUDS into an ISO container providing protective and habitable space for the user. This not only provides a highly effective, TRL-9 military C-UAS solution, but also enables rapid deployment and re-deployment of the system in support of critical facilities.

Colin Bullock, CEO of ECS commented; “We are delighted to secure the award of this contract that further develops our relationship with the US Department of Defense in providing mission critical C-UAS capability. One of several recent orders for this capability, it indicates the ever increasing requirement to counter UAS threats. This most recent CAUDS version of our RF Defeat capability is proven to effectively defeat UAVs at range, commensurate with the requirements of military operations. UAS technology is currently becoming an ever increasing threat within both civil and military environments throughout the world and I believe our RF Defeat system to be the most widely deployed and effective counter-measure available”.
