Double suicide attack kills at least 20 people in Somalia's Bay

AT LEAST 20 people were killed and 40 others were wounded when a suicide bomber detonated their explosives targeting a restaurant and a second detonated their explosives targeting Bilan hotel in the city of Baidoa in Somalia's Bay region on 14 October, Al-Jazeera and Reuters reported. Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen claimed responsibility for the attack and claimed to have targeting the hotel owned by former Somali minister, identified as Mohamed Aden Fargeti, further claiming that both the restaurant and hotel were frequented by security forces personnel. The claim could not be independently verified.
