Instant Eye Robotics, based in Massachusetts, presented its Mk-3 GEN4-D1/D2 small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) exhibition held from 8 to 10 October in Washington, DC.
A company press release issued on 2 June mentioned that the US Navy and Marine Corps’ (USMC’s) Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office had ordered 800 Mk-2 GEN3-A0 platforms for marine infantry squads. A company spokeswoman told Jane’s in a 9 October email that “all [platforms] have been delivered to the marines”, noting that “prior to that order we delivered over 150 systems” to the marines as well.
