Pro-Islamic State media outlet promotes chemical and biological weapons manuals

IN A STATEMENT released on 30 September via Telegram, the pro-Islamic State media outlet Al-Saqri Foundation for Military Sciences circulated manuals on how to make various explosive devices - explosives belts and pressure cooker bombs - as well as chemical and biological weapons, BBC Monitoring reported. Further instructions on how to make cyanide, phosphine gas, and botulinum were also released on the channel. Some of the other manuals gave instructions for making other explosive devices described as pipe bombs, sticky bombs, and claymore mines. The material also included instructions on how to extract poison from plants such as oleander and castor.
