Indra has been awarded a contract to supply its Lanza 3D long-range radar (LRR) system to the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), the Spanish company announced in a statement on 11 September.
Delivery will include the air surveillance radar as well as associated equipment such as Indra’s AirDef: an advanced air defence command-and-control system, said the firm, adding that it will also provide a comprehensive logistic package including spares, warranty, and training to RTAF operation and maintenance personnel.
Indra did not disclose the value of the contract, the expected delivery dates, or the number of systems to be supplied.
Indra’s family of Lanza 3D radar systems is based on a fully modular and scalable architecture, both in hardware equipment and software packages/capabilities.
