Sierra Nevada Corp (SNC) is looking forward to the new logistics evaluation of the US Air Force’s (USAF’s) light attack experiment (LAE) phase 2 currently taking place at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.
SNC vice-president Taco Gilbert told reporters on 14 May that the USAF decided against the logistics evaluation for phase 1 last summer. Gilbert said the service told SNC to expect a small army of maintainers and logistics experts evaluating the ground support of participating aircraft this summer.
