Haenel Defence debuts CR 308 rifle

Haenel Defence unveiled a prototype of its 7.62x51 mm CR 308 semi-automatic rifle at the Enforce TAC exhibition, held in Nuremberg, Germany, on 7–8 March.

The company is expanding its line of 5.56 mm CR 223/CR 556 assault rifles by introducing a similarly designed 7.62 mm AR-10-type weapon.

The CR 308 features fully ambidextrous manipulators (including bi-functional bolt catch), with a 45°, 60°, or 90° safety selector.
