Poland’s Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) announced its 2017 earnings on 9 January and outlined its projections for future growth, as exports surge.
According to PGZ, in 2017 the firm exported PLN798 million (USD228 million) through completed contracts and also secured agreements valued at PLN1.25 billion. These figures represented a 43% growth in deliveries, up from PLN560 million in 2016 with orders of PLN860 million.
Both the domestic defence and civil markets form key components of the company’s revenue stream, however the company is continuing to identify export opportunities. As a result, PGZ is projecting that its export revenues could reach PLN2 billion by 2022, PLN3 billion in 2025, and PLN5 billion in 2030.
