Poland begins process to buy new multirole aircraft

04 December 2017

The Polish Armament Inspectorate (AI) has published a document launching the market analysis for a new multirole aircraft for the Polish Air Force.

The goal of the tender is to improve Poland’s capabilities to combat air threats and to support army, navy, and special operations. An additional objective is to acquire aerial electronic jamming capabilities.

The document does not name the programme but the contact email address provided indicates that it is probably still Harpia (Harpy Eagle). The deadline for companies participating in the market analysis to submit all documents is 18 December 2017. They can submit information on a multirole fighter, jamming aircraft, or both.
