Oakley Standard Issue (SI) (Stand S8-120), a division of Oakley Inc, has expanded its line of ballistic
eyewear, including the new low-profile SI Ballistic Det Cord built for aggressive environments and meeting the impact fragmentation requirements of MIL-PRF-32432 and ANSI Z87.1-2010.

Engineered to meet the needs of military, law enforcement and shooting sports, the Det Cord adds another model to the 29 currently listed on the Special Operations Eyewear Program (SOEP) and numerous other eyewear platforms.

The eyewear comes with a rubberised Unobtanium nosepiece for a secure fit, comms-compatible ear stems, and scratch-resistant outer and anti-fog inner coatings.

Prizm lens technology delivers increased contrast, reduced eye fatigue and faster target acquisition. Det Cord lenses block 100 per cent of UVA/UVB and harmful blue light up to 400nm wavelength.

ESS (Eye Safety Systems), a wholly owned subsidiary of Oakley Inc, is promoting the lightweight and durable Crowbar interchangeable-lens sunglasses on the same stand, featuring a frameless bottom lens design and innovative Lens Gate that makes for rapid lens exchange. The military-grade polycarbonate lens material delivers crisp optics, plus a broad range of ballistic protection. A light and balanced fit won’t interfere with hats, helmets, hearing pro or comms gear.
