The Patria 6×6 vehicle is being offered as a C-UAS. (Patria)
Patria offered a counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) consisting of Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) 6×6 armoured vehicles at Defence iQ's International Armoured Vehicles (IAV) 2025 conference held under the Chatham House rule in Farnborough from 21 to 23 January.
The system would comprise a Patria 6×6 command-and-control (C2) vehicle with C2 software and the Integrated Combat Solution (ICS), supported by a towed radar and backup. The C2 vehicle would provide sensor integration, threat evaluation, weapon allocation, and a blue picture and issue engagement orders to Patria 6×6 effector vehicles. All vehicles would be equipped with a remote weapon station armed with 50 calibre machine guns.
Patria is also offering a ground-based air-defence (GBAD) version of the CAVS 6×6 vehicle, which it says has a spacious interior to allow the integration of operator stations and store the material and ammunition and provides high tactical and operational mobility.
