Janes Engagement Team (JET)
JET is a cross-business group that champions openness, transparency, and inclusion, helping colleagues shape the people agenda at Janes. Together, the team help to:
- Strengthen a one-team ethos across teams and locations.
- Shape priorities for inclusion, innovation, and career development.
- Drive initiatives that embed our values and leadership code.
- Partner with leadership on wellbeing, DE&I, corporate social responsibility, and social activities.
Environment, Social & Governance and Sustainability.
Improving global security includes protecting the environment for future generations. Our Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) approach is detailed in three-year action plans and structured around three objectives linked to our purpose.
- Environment: We commit to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year, a target validated by the SBTi. We commit to measure, reduce, and report on our scope 3 emissions, and aim to optimize office energy efficiency and facilitate greener choices by our colleagues.
- Social: We maintain a continuous, practical, and transparent diversity, equity, and inclusion approach. We actively support armed forces communities and provide colleagues with dedicated volunteering time to contribute within their local communities.
- Governance:Janes operates as an ethical, accountable business with regularly reviewed policies on ethics, decision-making, and transparency.
