State-owned aircraft manufacturer PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has delivered the last Bell 412EPI multirole medium helicopters on order for the Indonesian Army (Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD)).

The company announced on 24 February that the ninth and last Bell 412EPI conducted its ferry flight on the same day as US Ambassador to Indonesia Sung Y Kim visited PTDI's facilities in Bandung, West Java, where the helicopters were assembled and some of their components are manufactured.

The nine helicopters, which were procured under a December 2018 contract worth USD183 million, are operated by the 11th Squadron at Ahmad Yani Air Base in Semarang and the 21st Squadron at Pondok Cabe in South Tangerang, PTDI said. The first was delivered in December 2020.
