Russia is said to have lost approximately 90% of its military equipment in Krynky, Kherson, likely because of a shortage of Russian electronic warfare (EW) systems in the area, according to a UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) intelligence update on 12 January.

The equipment is being destroyed by Ukrainian munition-equipped first-person view (FPV) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) alongside artillery on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River, the update added.

Videos from Ukrainian military bloggers and the 501st Separate Marine Infantry Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine depict Russian equipment being destroyed in Krynky, such as BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), as well as what appears to be a T-series main battle tank and possibly a TOS-1 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) because of the size of the explosion.
