CSG unveiled the Meander tracked amphibious vehicle on the first day of the Future Forces Forum 2026 exhibition being held in Prague on 21-23 October. Meander was developed jointly by CSG's Excalibur Army and Krill Business Partners' New Space Technologies (NST).

CSG said in a press release on 21 October that Meander is designed to operate on land and in water, including in difficult terrain such as swamps, rivers, and wetlands. The vehicle presented at Future Forces Forum 2026 is the basic transport variant, which carries materiel, smaller vehicles, ground equipment or personnel, but Meander's design allows other versions and configurations, including combat versions carrying weapon systems, according to CSG.

Meander is based on the Kalan vehicle unveiled by NST at the Pyros fire protection, integrated rescue system activities, health, and life and property protection trade fair held in Brno on 28-31 May 2025.

Under a memorandum on their cooperation on Meander signed at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris in June, Excalibur Army is responsible for the military, operational, and user requirements, and NST for the technical, design and production development, including the first prototype.

Václav Zajíc, executive director of NST, said, “In designing Meander, we drew on our experience from developing the Kalan vehicle, which Czech firefighters are now trialling. As a result, Meander has a different propulsion system for movement on water, among other improvements suited to military use.”
