Frontline Robotics unveils Frodo UGV

Ukrainian defence company Frontline Robotics has unveiled Frodo, a six-wheeled unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed for logistics, casualty evacuation (CASEVAC), and fire-support missions.
According to a company press release on 30 September 2026, the 6×6 platform has a maximum speed of 40 km/h, with a recommended effective speed of 30 km/h. It has maximum payload of 400 kg and a recommended payload of 200 kg. , and a maximum range of 150 km. It has a Frontline Robotics said Frodo has been codified and authorised for operational use by Ukraine's Ministry of Defence (MoD).
A company representative told Janes on 30 September that Frodo is fully electric and battery-powered. Two battery types are available: a LiFePO4 with a capacity of 72 Ah, and Li-ion with a capacity of 156 or 140 Ah. The company release added that the platform can retain mobility following the damage or loss of one of its wheels with airless tyres, while its batteries can be replaced by a single operator.
The UGV has adaptive independent suspension, a low centre of gravity, and ground clearance of 170–330 mm, said the company. Frodo's modular architecture allows it to integrate Frontline Robotics' Buria remote weapon station (RWS), which is compatible with 40 mm automatic grenade launchers and the 12.7 mm Browning M2 heavy machine gun.
