EM&E reveals Odin mobile C-UAV system

EM&E Group has showcased a mobile, counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (C-UAV) system at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris this week.
The Odin 6x6 is a “new, mobile, layered defence C-UAS [counter-unmanned aircraft system] capability”, designed to detect, identify and neutralise threats using soft and hard kill effects.
Based on EM&E's Ferox armoured vehicle (launched in May 2025 at the FEINDEF exhibition in Madrid), the Odin displayed was armed with company's own Guardian 2.0 Pro remote weapon station (RWS), fitted with a 30 mm x 113 mm M230LF cannon and coaxial 7.62 mm medium machine gun (which can be swapped for 5.56 mm, 12.7 mm or 40 mm alternatives).
A company official told Janes at the unveiling at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition in Paris in June that Odin will soon be capable of firing Northrop Grumman's programmable fuze ammunition as well as Nammo's 30mm x 173 Programable Airburst Explosive (PABEX) round.
However, the layered approach to C-UAV comes with the additional integration of sensors and effectors on board the 6x6 vehicle. These include capacity to carry up to four flat panel radars (Echodyne's EchoShield) on the RWS as well as six radio frequency (RF) detection and jamming antennas fitted to the sides and corners of the platform itself.
Together with the RWS's electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) cameras and laser rangefinder, this sensor package will be able to detect quadcopter UAVs up to 5k m away and larger fixed-wing UAVs like a Shahed up to 12km away.
