BAE Systems said its half-year 2026 results, released in July, have been boosted by continued demand for high-end equipment such as the Eurofighter Typhoon. A UK government contract was awarded to the company on 25 March for training, support equipment, and services for Türkiye's 20 aircraft, which were signed for on 27 October 2025.

BAE announced that this, in addition to combat air operations in the Middle East following the test firing from the Typhoon of the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS), has contributed to its growth.

Since the start of 2026, the company marked other air-related milestones including the unveiling of the Brontanax Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow. The Edgewing consortium, of which it is a part, won contracts worth GBP5 billion (USD6.7 billion) as part of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).

BAE Systems also secured contracts with the US Department of Defense (DoD) with a seven-year framework agreement to quadruple production and accelerate delivery of BAE's infrared seeker for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) interceptor.

On 16 June the company won a USD535 million Paladin contract for production of additional M109A7 Paladin 155 mm self-propelled howitzers and M992A3 ammunition carriers for the US Army.
