Ukraine's HUR lists major components of Russia's Krasnopol-M2 guided shell

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), also known as HUR (Holovne Upravlinnia Rozvidky), published a 3D component image of Russia's Krasnopol-M2 guided artillery round and listed some of its major components.
The list of components was included in an April 2026 entry on the DIU's War and Sanctions website. The list includes; a semi-active radar homing head, a turn coordinator, labelled a “gyrocoordinator”, angular rate sensor, missile steering controls, autopilot, internal gyroscope, high-explosive fragmentation warhead, and stabilisation system. The listed components are labelled with the purported names of their Russian manufacturers. Only the internal gyroscope does not include any information about the manufacturer.
Russia's state-owned industrial conglomerate Rostec State Corporation announced in a 2 April press release that an unknown number of Krasnopol-M2 rounds were delivered to Russia's Ministry of Defence (MoD). According to the release, Rostec subsidiary High Precision Systems delivered the rounds, which can be launched from self-propelled howitzers and towed guns “from indirect firing positions”.
On 8 April, Russia's MoD said its Tsentr (Centre) group of forces used Kransopol-M2 guided artillery rounds to target a Ukrainian command post in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
