Elbit Systems for the first time recorded in excess of USD1 billion in revenues in a single financial quarter during the final one of 2017, contributing to the USD3.38 billion total received over that calendar year.
The total revenues for the year was an increase on the USD3.26 billion the company made in 2016, while fourth quarter revenues increased year on year from USD957.7 million to USD1.01 billion.
Order backlog stands at USD7.65 billion, an 11% increase year on year, with about 73% of that contributed to export orders.
Notably, the domestic market in Israel is only the third largest for the company, as North America remains its largest market, accounting for 24.5% of revenues for the year, followed by Europe with 22.6%, and Israel with 22%.
