Singapore Technologies invests in data analytics firm

Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) has acquired a minority stake in Azendian Holdings, a Singapore-based company that specialises in data analytics.

ST Engineering said in a press release on 1 March that the investment – worth SGD4 million (USD3 million) – will help strengthen the data analytics capabilities in its electronics division, ST Electronics.

The group added that these capabilities will strengthen ST Electronics’ technologies related to artificial intelligence and machine learning.

“Additionally, this investment will expand the group’s direct and immediate access to a wider pool of data analytics expertise that will provide customers with data-driven and data-enabled services for digital transformation.”
