IDE delivers iDefender to Indonesian Navy

Intracom Defense Electronics (IDE) has delivered its iDefender Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO) suite-based solution to the Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut: TNI–AL), the Greece-based company announced in a statement on 20 February.

The new system is set to enhance the recognition/surveillance, command-and-control, and digital intercommunication capabilities of the TNI-AL’s Western Fleet in terms of real-time exchange of operational information between the theatre of operations and the land-based command centre, the company said.
