IED attack kills six SRF fighters in Syria's Quneitra

ACCORDING to the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, six Syria Revolutionaries Front (SRF) fighters - including a commander and his brother - were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) - described in reports as an explosive canister - emplaced on the road by unidentified assailants, detonated as their vehicle passed by between the towns of Mashara and Nabea al-Sakher in Quneitra governorate on 11 February. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. Casualty figures provided by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights cannot be independently verified but have been assessed to be the most reliable.
