Czech defence materiel trading group Omnipol has announced the sale of a 50% stake in radar technologies company Ramet to minority shareholder Bohuslav Maluska.
Omnipol said it would retain ownership rights to the SDD passive radar system currently made by Ramet and transfer the technology to Omnipol subsidiary ERA which specialises in designing and manufacturing passive radar systems.
Omnipol President Jiri Podpera said, “Co-operation with Ramet was always on the highest and professional level and will not end following the sale of our stake in the company. We plan to continue to make use of the know-how of the company’s specialists in the further development of the SDD passive radar system and will retain their services with pleasure.”
