US avionics house Rockwell Collins announced at the Paris Air Show on 21 June that its Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics system has been selected by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc (GA-ASI) to support its MQ-9B SkyGuardian medium-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programme.
Specifically, the Pro Line Fusion avionics system will be integrated into the ground control stations of the MQ-9B unmanned aircraft system (UAS) as GA-ASI pursues its certification for operation in US civil airspace.
The solution will feature interactive touch-control displays and a proven flight management system to support instrument flight rules (IFR) flight in civilian airspace.
