Uralvagonzavod almost doubles Q1 profit in 2017

Russian state-owned land systems manufacturer Uralvagonzavod achieved a large increase in profits in the first quarter of 2017, according to figures released by parent company Rostec on 18 May.

The company, which produces main battle tanks including the T-90 and T-14 Armata, reported net profit of RUB1.8 billion (USD32 million) for the first three months of the year, an 87% rise on the same period in 2016.
