- Company to receive USD250 million for investment in Ukrainian facilities from China's Skyrizon
- Comes as Motor Sich and Skyrizon finalise plans for assembly and maintenance facility in China
Ukrainian aero-engine manufacturer Motor Sich is to receive USD250 million from China’s Skyrizon to invest in the revamping of its manufacturing and design capabilities in Ukraine.
Ukraine minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv made the announcement via his Facebook page on 15 May as he visited China on a trade mission.
Additionally, the two companies are to establish a plant for the assembly and servicing of aero-engines in the city of Chongqing.
