Being introduced to the Asian market here at IDEX on Stand 12-E18 is the Czech CZ P-10 C polymer-framed striker-fired semi-automatic pistol.
The pistol has been designed by Uherský Brod-based Ceská Zbrojovka a.s. and has been built for personal defence and to withstand the rigours of armed forces use. Compact and suitable for concealed carry, it is claimed to be a step up for a service pistol in terms of reliability and durability, supported by new chequering and grip designed using the DiFEND methodology for ergonomics.
Included are magazine baseplates, which increase the capacity from 15 to 17 cartridges in the 9x19 calibre, and a mild palm swell, deep beavertail, and three interchangeable backstraps for individual adjustment of size.
Other advantages are said to be a new degree of resistance against c o r rosion and mechanical damage, exceptional iron sights accentuated by three luminescent dots, and automatic striker block guaranteeing drop safety.
