Slovenia orders militarised Land Cruisers

The Slovenian Ministry of Defence has announced a EUR5.95 million (USD6.4 million) order for Achleitner MMV Survivor 4x4 vehicles.

The agreement covers the delivery of up to 70 vehicles manufactured by the Austrian company Achleitner for the Slovenian Armed Forces.

The MMV Survivor is a militarised version of a 2.8D Toyota Land Cruiser with reinforced suspension, additional engine and gearbox protection, and 12/24 V electric installation.

The Slovenian vehicles will be have five seats and be fitted with roof racks and two antennae support brackets, with space for two radios and five racks for FN F2000 assault rifles in the rear compartment.
