Advatech Pacific is completing development of a smaller version of its Tactical Cross Domain Solutions (TACDS), which could be worn by a soldier or used on a small unmanned aircraft system.
Additionally, the company's latest version of its military-standard TACDS is going through the National Security Agency (NSA) re-certification process to add further messaging filter capabilities.
Advatech Pacific is anticipating that development of its Centurion ultra-small Cross Domain Solution (CDS) will be completed by early 2017 and then transition into the NSA's certification process, Tara Cannon, strategic marketing for Advatech Pacific, told IHS Jane's.
Centurion, which weighs 8 oz (226.8 g), uses the same software and is built on the same security architecture as TACDS.
