Female suicide bomber kills five people in Nigeria's Yobe

FIVE people were killed and dozens of others were wounded when a female suicide bomber detonated her explosives outside a market in the town of Potiskum in Nigeria's Yobe state on 22 February, Al-Jazeera and Reuters reported. Local witnesses claimed that the suicide bomber was a small girl, estimated to have been approximately eight years old. No group claimed responsibility for the attack in Yobe, although Boko Haram has previously claimed responsibility for similar attacks in the area.
