FNSS to Deliver Additional ZAHA Vehicles to Turkish Navy

Turkey's FNSS has been contracted by the country's Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB) to deliver an additional batch of 27 Zaha Marine Assault Vehicles (MAVs) to the Turkish Naval Forces Command's (TNFC's) Amphibious Infantry Brigade. The signing ceremony took place during the Saha Expo 2026 exhibition, held in Istanbul from 5-9 May.
The Zaha MAV was developed by FNSS to meet the operational requirements of the Turkish Navy in support of amphibious operations under an agreement signed between the SSB and FNSS in 2017.
By 2022, FNSS had delivered all 27 vehicles included in the first batch. Of these, 23 were configured as personnel carriers, two as command-and-control vehicles and two as rescue vehicles. The armoured personnel carrier (APC) variant has a crew of three — commander, driver and gunner — and is capable of embarking 21 personnel.
