The US company RTX announced the first international sales for the Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System (LIDS) on 13 October, when it said its Raytheon subsidiary had been awarded a USD729 million contract to deliver “critical components” of the air-defence system to Jordan and Qatar, as well as the US Army.

RTX added no further details about the contract, which did not appear to have been announced by the US Department of Defense at the time of writing.

The US Army is currently the only operator of the LIDS in both its mobile (M-LIDS) and fixed site (FS-LIDS) configurations.

The US Department of State approved a Qatari request to buy 10 FS-LIDS fire units and 200 Coyote Block 2 interceptors in November 2022. The White House announced during President Donald Trump's visit to Doha on 14 May 2025 that Raytheon had secured a USD1 billion agreement that made Qatar the first export customer for the FS-LIDS.

The US Department of State's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs announced on 26 February 2026 that a Jordanian request for an unspecified number of Ku band multi-function radio frequency systems (KuMRFS) had been approved.

This was a reference to the Ku-band Radio Frequency Sensor (KuFRS) radar used with the LIDS, although the Jordanian request was not stated to be part of a wider air-defence system acquisition.
