The Turkish Ministry of National Defence (MND) has for the first time shown the Hava Stand-Off Jammer (SOJ), with the Bombardier Global 6000 business jet-based electronic warfare (EW) aircraft making a brief appearance in an official video posted on 1 June 2026.
Still in its factory primer, the aircraft developed by Turkish Aerospace and Aselsan for stand-off electronic support and electronic attack (EA), was shown in a less than one second excerpt of the video performing pre-delivery trials.
As noted by Janes C4ISR & Mission Systems: Air, the Hava SOJ is designed to suppress hostile air-defence surveillance systems in the suppression/destruction of enemy air defences (SEAD/DEAD) role.
The SOJ platform will be used by the Turkish Air Force (TuAF) to identify hostile air-, land-, and sea-based radar/communication emitters and deceive/jam them without entering the threat zone. By suppressing the enemy air-defence radar and communication systems, it allows friendly combat aircraft to enter and exit the enemy airspace by creating safe corridors to perform their targeted attack missions.
While system details have not been disclosed, Hava SOJ architecture is likely to comprise radar and communications electronic support/electronic attack subsystems, a defensive aids suite, a communications and tactical datalink package, and a mission management subsystem, with critical mission equipment, software, and special algorithms being provided by Aselsan.
