Fire Point's FP-1 and FP-2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are being used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to conduct strikes inside Russian territory on a nearly daily basis, Iryna Terekh, CEO of Fire Point, told Janes at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition held in Paris from 15-19 June.
“I would say that, as of now, the system works in a way that there are strikes on a daily basis; there are from 5 to 20 of them made with FP-1 and FP-2, and sometimes with the FP-5 [Flamingo],” Terekh said. Around 60% of all of Ukraine's deep strike missions inside Russia are being carried out using either the FP-1 or FP-2 UAVs, Terekh said. The FP-1 fixed-wing one-way attack (OWA) UAV has an operational range of up to 2700 km, a maximum payload of up to 60 kg, and a maximum flight time of 18 hours. The FP-2 fixed-wing OWA UAV has an operating range of up to 700 km, a maximum payload of 200 kg, and a maximum flight time of 4 hours. The FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile has an operating range of up to 3000 km, a maximum speed of 950 km/h, a payload of nearly 1150 kg, and a maximum flight time of four hours, all according to a specification documents shared with Janes on 17 June.
