Calian UK has secured a 15-year contract with Raytheon UK, the consortium lead for Omnia Training, to support the British Army's Collective Training Service (ACTS) programme, Calian announced in a press release on 12 August 2026.
The GBP159 million (USD216 million) agreement will start in October 2026 after the conclusion of the current Project Numidian contract, according to the press release. Through ACTS, Calian says it will continue to deliver specialist collective training services through digital, synthetic, and integrated services.
The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) awarded a GBP73.98 million contract to UK-based Mabway on 20 June 2023 for Project Numidian, according to a contract summary on the UK government website. The requirement for the delivery of training support services included technical writing for mission ready and combat ready exercises, actors, information manoeuvres, pyrotechnics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), data fusion and analysis, and higher control cell (HICON)/lower control cell (LOCON)/side controllers (SIDECON). The contract end date was listed as 7 October 2026. Calian Group acquired Mabway in May 2024, as per a 10 May 2024 company notice.
