The 2018 UK Chief of the Air Staff’s Air Power Conference will take place on 11-12 July 2018 in London and will be a highlight of the Royal Air Force’s (RAF) Centenary celebration. Senior UK Government ministers, RAF senior officers, key industry partners, science & technology influencers and up to 60 international air chiefs will attend the Conference, the theme of which will be ‘Building the Next Generation Air Force’. Organised by the Air Power Association (APA) in cooperation with the RAF Centre for Air Power Studies, the Conference will reveal emerging opportunities in the air, space and artificial intelligence spheres and will examine the challenges that air forces will face – technologically, structurally and doctrinally – as the Royal Air Force embarks on its second century. Confirmed keynote speakers include Chief of the Air Staff, ACM Sir Stephen Hillier and Minister of State for the Armed Forces, The Rt. Hon. Mark Lancaster MP.
