With Asia Pacific airline traffic expected to triple in the next two decades and defence budgets growing in response to strategic security challenges, the Indo-Asia-Pacific region is set to be the focus of civil and defence aerospace development for the foreseeable future.

Avalon 2019, the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition, is Australia’s own signature industry event and the most comprehensive aviation, aerospace and defence exposition in the Southern Hemisphere.

The 2017 event attracted 664 companies from 25 countries, 158 delegations, 33,000 accredited trade visitors and total event attendance of 210,000, with 41 international air force chiefs present or represented.
