Few events can rival the intensity, drama and spectacle on offer at the world's greatest airshow. The Royal International Air Tattoo returns this July to RAF Fairford in the Cotswolds and as well as featuring the world’s most exciting aircraft, the 2019 airshow will turn its spotlight to space.

Giving his seal of approval to this year’s theme ‘Air and Space: Inspiring the Next Generation Air Force’ will be British astronaut Major Tim Peake who will be making an appearance at the airshow’s critically-acclaimed TechnoZone®, where there will be engaging and interactive displays demonstrating how space technology is being developed and being used to help counter threats to our everyday lives.

In the skies above Gloucestershire visitors can witness a thrilling routine from The RAF Red Arrows, a special 70th anniversary NATO flypast, the Ukrainian Air Force’s Russian-built Sukhoi Su-27 and an airshow favourite the Spanish Navy’s two vertical lift AV-8B Harriers.
