Nexteam Group, which recently merged with fellow French aircraft parts manufacturer Ventana Group, plans to pursue additional merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities, according to the combined company.

Nexteam will consider a potential deal if it “fits our strategy for growth in our markets”, the company said on 28 February in a written response to questions.

Nexteam and Ventana completed their previously announced merger on 11 February, creating a “major player” in aviation with 2,200 employees. By joining forces, the two firms expect to become more agile and resilient and better able to attract new employees.
