Heico, Voyager Space make acquisitions

US-based Heico Corporation has acquired defence electronics supplier Paciwave of Sunnyvale, California, for an undisclosed amount of cash at closing, Heico announced on 4 October.

Paciwave will become part of Heico's dB Control subsidiary and will move to dB Control's nearby facility in Fremont, California, Heico said. Most of Paciwave's employees are expected to stay with the company.

Founded in 1995 by Parimal Kadakia, Paciwave makes microwave and radio-frequency equipment used in air, land, sea, and space-based military applications. Paciwave and dB Control have worked together for years, Heico said.
